Do you mean how you can get 16 in a multiplication problem? Then the answer would be 2 times 8 which would equal 16. Hope this helped.

a stack of 500 sheets of paper is 1.875 inches tall. Diego guess that each piece of paper and 0.015 inches thick. Explain how yo
just olya [345]

If there were 1000 sheets of paper, then the thickness of each sheet would be 1.875 in divided by 1000.

1.875/1000 = 0.001875

Since there are 500 sheets of paper, each one is twice as thick as 0.001875, so each sheet is 0.00375 inches thick. 0.015 is much greater than 0.00375, so it must be incorrect.

Rob notices that 55 percent of the people leaving the supermarket chhose plastic bags instead of paper bags. out of 600 people,
Temka [501]
To solve this answer, you are trying to find 55% of 600, because that is the number of people who chose plastic bag.

55% can be re-written as 55/100 OR 0.55 since percentages are always out of 100.

So, we do 0.55*600, which gives us 330. 330 people carry plastic bags.

Shaka and ajani playa a game shaka scores 30%of maximum points and misses the record by 15 points ajani gets 40% of maximum pint
stellarik [79]

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we should focus on their records and percents.

Shaka: 30%, -15 points.

Ajani: 40% +35 points.

When we subtract 35 and -15, we get the difference of 50.

We know 10% is 50 point difference, 20% is 100 point difference, 30% is 150 point difference, etc.

But that's not correct.

  • It has to be in the Negatives.
  • It cannot be positive under 30%.

Since 30% is -15 points, we subtract 50 for 20%, then another 50 for 10%.

Our Correct work is:

0% = -0, 10% = -115, 20% = -65, (30% = -15, 40% = 35.)

- We are correct.

Then, since we are correct, we keep going.

30% = -15, 40% = 35, 50% = 85, 60% = 135, 70% = 185, 80% = 235, 90% = 285, 100% (Or Maximum Point): 335.

Therefore, the Maximum Point is 335 points.

Best of Luck to you!
