The main methods used to gather information about the ancient civilizations are the archaeology, written documents, and the orally passed traditions.

Explanation:

The ancient civilizations existed long time ago, and the modern day societies are separated from them by quite a large gap of time. There are several ways through which we are able to gather information about these civilizations. The main methods are the archaeology, the written documents, as well as the orally passed traditions.

  • Through the archaeology, we manage to get the physical evidence.
  • Through the written documents we get direct information apart certain aspects of the societies.
  • The orally passed traditions are too very important, as there are numerous groups of people that have managed to preserve their traditions for thousands of years, so they provide an insight in the lives of their ancestors.

These methods are not the most accurate, and often there can be lot of mistakes and wrong assumptions, but with thorough research, objective one, and from numerous sides, an approximate picture is created of the past and the ancient civilizations that existed.

lions [1.4K]

Answer:

4: The Khmer Rouge refused to follow a peace agreement established with the United Nations in 1991

Explanation:

The Khmer Rouge is definitely the most terrible thing that has happened to the people of Cambodia, and the worst period was when Pohl Pot was the leader. Around two million people lost their lives, many more were tortured, everything was taken away from the people, and violence was what ruled the country. The Khmer Rouge managed to commit pretty much all crimes against humanity unfortunately. One thing that can not be considered as a violation of the human rights is that it didn't followed the agreement with the United Nations in general, as that is more of a diplomatic issue between two sides.

SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

It was conquered by Muslim invaders.

Explanation:

Zimbabwe was conquered by the British when the British South Africa Company of Cecil Rhodes, a mining magnate, arrived in the country in the 1880s and began to take over labor, mineral resources and lands from the natives. The nation, then, was not conquered by Muslims. In fact, nowadays, Muslims represent only about 0,7% of the population, while around 84% of the population are Christians.
