The correct answer is "35".

The Equal Rights Amendment is a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution that guarantees equal rights for all American Citizens, regardless of sex. The Amendment aims to end legal distinctions between men and women regarding properties, employment, marriage, among others.

The Bill was originally submitted to Congress for the first time in 1921. However, it was not until 1972 that it was passed by both the House of Representatives and The Senate. It would later enter a state ratification period, whose deadline was set on March 22, 1979. 35 State legislatures had ratified the Amendment by the deadline and it was later passed by Congress and signed by the President.

How does the poem, "The White Man's Burden", justify imperialism to the industrialized world and the unindustrialized world?
Nutka1998 [239]
The main way in which the poem, "The White Man's Burden", justifies imperialism to the industrialized world and the unindustrialized world is that it implies that it is the "obligation" and duty of white men in developed and rich countries to colonies poorer countries--in order to implement more "modern" and prosperous forms of government.

B) the world sought payment from Germany for all the damage.

At the conclusion of World War I, the Allied and Associate Powers included in the Treaty of Versailles a plan for reparations to be paid by Germany. Germany was required to pay 20 billion gold marks, as an interim measure, while a final amount was decided upon. In 1921, the London Schedule of Payments established the German reparation figure at 132 billion gold marks (separated into various classes, of which only 50 billion gold marks was required to be paid). Meanwhile, the industrialists of Germany's Ruhr Valley, who had lost their factories in Lorraine (Germany had seized Lorraine in 1870 and it went back to France after WW1), demanded hundreds of millions of marks as compensation from the German government. Despite having large obligations under the Versailles Treaty, the German government paid the Ruhr Valley industrialists for their losses. This contributed significantly to the hyperinflation that followed.

Explain how a mortgage is different than rent. Identify a benefit of each.
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

A mortgage is a repayment of a loan which was given to you to buy a home.

Rent is a payment to someone who owns the building in which you live.

Explanation:

A mortgage is a loan used to buy a house and guaranteed by the same house by putting it as a collateral. For example; The loan you took to buy your property.

Rent is a payment that you give the property owner for the right to occupy the place for a specific period. You do not get any ownership rights in exchange.

Benefits:  A mortgage is a good thing when you have a place to live somewhere, without paying monthly apartment rent, which means to lose money.

Rent helps low-income households to live in private rental dwellings at a low price.
