So you will do 40 times .30 which equals 12. Now you take 12 and add that to your given which is 40. So its 40+12 which equals 52

9=1
No solution
10) In order to solve this problem you need to cross multiply
2(3x+5)=7(10

Find the slope between these two points: (3, -10) and (-2, -30). Show all of your work. what the answer
Harlamova29_29 [7]

\huge\text{$m=\boxed{4}$}

Hey there! Start with the slope formula, where (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2) are the two known points.

\begin{aligned}m&=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\&=\frac{-30-(-10)}{-2-3}\end{aligned}

Simplify.

\begin{array}{c|l}\textbf{Solving}&\textbf{Reason}\\\cline{1-2}\\m=\dfrac{-30+10}{-2-3}&x-(-y)=x+y\\\\m=\dfrac{-20}{-5}&\text{Addition and subtraction}\\\\m=\dfrac{20}{5}&\text{The negatives cancel out}\\\\m=\dfrac{4}{1}&\text{Divide the numerator and denominator by $5$}\\\\m=\boxed{4}&\dfrac{x}{1}=x\end{aligned}

The tires on Eric's car have a diameter of 18 inches. Rounded to the nearest whole number, how many rotations per second does ea
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to figure out how far Eric's car takes him in 1 rotation based on the diameter of his tire in feet. If the diameter of the tire is 18", then it is 1.5'. The circumference will tell us the distance 1 rotation of his tires will take him:

C = 3.1415(1.5) so

C = 4.71225 feet is how far he goes in 1 rotation. If he travels 88 feet in 1 second, we can figure the number of rotations by dividing 88 by 4.71225 to give us the unit rate (or, rotations per second his car makes). This quotient is 18.67 feet per sec, which rounds to 19, choice B.

Oliga [24]
So it would be 64÷2=32
since if it is bisected it is cut in half which would result in each of the two angles being 32 degrees
