Answer:

police action

declaration of war

Explanation:

The last time the U.S. Congress formally declared war on a nation was in 1942, when it declared war on Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary. Ever since, all American military operations have been implemented without a declaration of war.

The intervention in Korea was no exception, and as Truman never asked Congress for a formal declaration, the intervention was labeled as a "police action".

This is similar to what happened in Iraq in 2003. Congress never declared war on Iraq, and the former president Bush was allowed to intervene under the lable of "authorization of military force".

C: interview us and Soviet leaders about differences in customs that affected the negotiations

Explanation:

  • Cultural history is not interested in explaining events from a political perspective.
  • In this case, historian would check why someone is stubborn and not keen to let go when it comes to some agreements.
  • He would check why Soviet or American negotiators are strictly using certain sentences, why do they behave the way they behave, etc.

What are some criticisms of the United Nations? Check all that apply.
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

It can be corrupt

It is often ineffective

Explanation:

The biggest criticism towards the United Nations goes for:

- It can be corrupt; there's accusations towards the United Nations very often that it is corrupt, and that it serves mostly in the interest of the United States and the western world in general, and objectively speaking it does look that way more often than not.

- It is often ineffective; there's countless examples of the inefficiency of the United Nations, and lots of those kind of seem like the United Nations don't want to solve. Simple example is the name issue between the Republic of Macedonia and Greece. Even though in the law of the United Nations stands that every country has the right to choose its own name and no one can forbid it, and even though the Republic of Macedonia won in the International court over the issue, Greece is blocking its northern neighbor to get into the organizations like NATO and the EU because they are not allowing the term Macedonia to be included in the name of the country. The United Nations did literally nothing to force Greece to respect the law of the organization which they are obliged to do.

Hat are some examples of constitutional ideas that actually came from Britain?
Marianna [84]

Answer/Explanation:

Under the AOC each state got one electoral vote for each senator and the number of representatives in the state.

Virginia basically wanted a rule where "<em>the more people in the state the more votes"(house of representatives)</em>

New Jersey wanted the same amount of votes from one house(the senate) no matter the population of the state.

Roger Sherman came up with the great compromise that solved this issue. He created a house of representatives that voted based on the population of the state. He also created a senate with equal representation for each state.
