Total amount of money received by David for working at his father's store = $50
Amount of money spent by David at the movies = $20
Amount of money spent by David buying comics books = $10
Amount of money spent by David buying candy = $5
Then
Total amount spent by David = (20 + 10 + 5) dollars
                                               = 35 dollars
Amount of money saved by David = (50 - 35 ) dollars
                                                       = 15 dollars
So
The ratio of the amount of money David
spent to the amount of money David saved = 35:15
                                                                      = 7:3
So the ratio of the amount of money David spent to the amount of money David saved is 7:3

Answer:

  9) 39.7°

  10) insufficient information

  11) 20.0 in

  12) 19.0 m

Step-by-step explanation:

These Law of Sines problems are all worked the same way. For sides a, b, and opposite angles A, B, the relevant relationship is ...

  a/sin(A) = b/sin(B)

This gives rise to formulas for angle and side:

  A = arcsin(a/b·sin(B))

  a = b·sin(A)/sin(B)

If the longest given side is not opposite the largest given angle, there may be two solutions.

_____

9) B = arcsin(8/12.5·sin(87°)) = 39.7°

10) missing a side or angle; insufficient information

11) f = (5 in)·sin(70.4°)/sin(13.6°) = 20.0 in

12) p = (22 m)·sin(59°)/sin(180°-59°-24°) = 19.0 m

Angelica had 8 more pairs of shoes than her mom. Together they have 30 pairs of shoes. How many pair of shoes does each one have
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

The answer to your question is Angelica 19, her mom = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Angelica has 8 more than her mother

total number of shoes = 30 pairs

The Number of pairs Angelica has = a = ?

The Number of pairs her mother has = m = ?

Process

1.- Write two equation that help to solve this problem

        a = m + 8                    Equation l

        a + m = 30                  Equation ll

2.- Solve the system of equations by substitution

Substitute equation l in equation ll

       (m + 8) + m = 30

-Solve for m

        m + 8 + m = 30

        2m = 30 - 8

        2m = 22

          m = 22/2

          m = 11

3.- Find a

          a = 11 + 8

          a = 19

4.- Conclusion

 Angelica has 19 pairs of shoes and her mom has 11
