Describe some of the illnesses that Africans faced on the Middle Passage journey.
Neko [114]
On the Voyage the Africans were being enslaved and they were all packed tightly together below the desk and were usually shackeld together. They all had seasickness, heat, and lack of hair which all contributated to a horriable smell. They were so close together that they could not go to the bathroom so they had to lay in their own filth. These conditions also encouraged disease. Many died from scurvy because they didn't have fruits or vegetables to eat. Not lots of slaves had known how to write so there were few accounts.

I hope this helps you:)
