Answer: Right atrioventricular valve prevents blood from flowing back from the right ventricle into the right atrium during right ventricular contraction.

Explanation:The cardiovascular system is the system that allows blood to circulate and transport nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment and help in excretion. One of its major components is the heart.

The heart is made up of heart valves which functions to prevent back flow of blood thereby maintaining the blood to flow one way through the heart.. the mammalian heart consist of 4 valves:

-bicuspid valve

-tricuspid (Right atrioventricular valve)

- aortic valve and

- pulmonary valve

The solutions in the arms of a U-tube are separated at the bottom of the tube by a selectively permeable membrane. The membrane
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

It is given that the permeable membrane at the base of the tube is permeable to NaCl solution but is not permeable to glucose.

Thus, sodium chloride from the arm of tube with high NaCl concentration will start moving towards the arm with low NaCl concentration and hence, the salt concentration will reduce on side A.

The volume will not remain constant as the concentration of NaCl on side A  will reduce thereby decreasing the water level from its initial mark

Hence, option D is correct
