Answer: Right atrioventricular valve prevents blood from flowing back from the right ventricle into the right atrium during right ventricular contraction.

Explanation:The cardiovascular system is the system that allows blood to circulate and transport nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment and help in excretion. One of its major components is the heart.

The heart is made up of heart valves which functions to prevent back flow of blood thereby maintaining the blood to flow one way through the heart.. the mammalian heart consist of 4 valves:

-bicuspid valve

-tricuspid (Right atrioventricular valve)

- aortic valve and

- pulmonary valve
