How is zero, oxidation numbers, and noble gases related

Biology
1 answer:
german3 years ago
4 0

Of its valence electrons or the no. Of valences in its Valence shell .In case of noble gases, their outermost shell is absolutely crammed so no emptiness is available in the outer maximum shell. Thus the oxidation kingdom is 0(zero)for Noble gases. Because, they've complete electrons in their out maximum shell.

hope this helps

Ecology and evolution are closely related, as are evolution and genetics. All have an impact on the world around us.
PtichkaEL [24]

Ecology is the science that studies the interaction between living beings and the environment in which they live.

How can I help with conservation?

 1. Buy recycled paper avoiding the death of more trees
 2. Have a recycling bin for paper, plastic, metal and glass, to reduce the environmental damage in waste and for the waste to be reused
 3. Recycle toner and ink cartridges from empty printers, to avoid polluting rivers and streams.
 4. If possible buy remanufactured cartridges, avoiding environmental impact
 5. Recycle old newspapers, avoiding the death of more trees.

What is the evidence for evolution?

 1. Anatomy. Species may share similar physical features because those features were present in a common ancestor (homologous structures).
 2. Molecular biology. DNA and genetic code reflect the common ancestry of life

With this information, we can conclude that Ecology is concerned with the living beings on the planet and their relationships with each other and with the environment.

Wei W, Zhao H, Wang A, et al. A clinical study on the short-term effect of berberine in comparison to metformin on the metabolic
marshall27 [118]

A group of Chinese women with PCOS who were receiving treatment saw several metabolic and hormonal imbalances improve after taking BBR. The primary consequences may be connected to the modifications in body composition in obesity and dyslipidemia. For the evaluation of the possible beneficial metabolic effects of BBR in women with PCOS, additional controlled trials are required.

PCOS:

 • Objective: Insulin resistance is a common metabolic and reproductive condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) (IR). A quinoline derivative alkaloid known as berberine (BBR) has been utilized as an insulin sensitizer and is isolated from Chinese medicinal herbs. There may be a therapeutic benefit for PCOS from BBR. The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of BBR and metformin (MET) on the metabolic characteristics of PCOS-affected women.
 • Design and methods: Ninety nine PCOS and IR patients were randomly assigned to one of three therapy groups: BBR+ compound cyproterone acetate (CPA;n=31), MET+CPA(n=30), and placebo+ CPA (n=28) for 3months. Before and after the treatment period, metabolic and hormonal measures as well as the clinical characteristics of the women were evaluated.
 • Results: Reduced waist circumference, waist-to-hip ratio (WHR;P<0.01), total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC; P<0.05), as well as increased levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC) and sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG; P<0.05) were all observed following treatment with BBR as compared to MET. Similarly, BBR treatment decreased WHR, fasting plasma glucose, fasting insulin, homeostasis model evaluation for IR, area under the insulin curve, TC, LDLC, and TG (P<0.05), while increasing HDLC and SHBG (P<0.01) as compared to placebo.

A normal breath takes in about 1.0 L of air. If air has an average molar mass of 28.8 g per 1 mol and has a density of 0.97 g/mL
Ann [662]

Taking into account the definition of density and Avogadro's Number, you take 2.0286×10²⁵ molecules of air.

What is density

Density is defined as the property that matter, whether solid, liquid or gas, has to compress into a given space.

In other words, density is a quantity that allows us to measure the amount of mass in a certain volume of a substance.

Then, the expression for the calculation of density is the quotient between the mass of a body and the volume it occupies:

density=\frac{mass}{volume}

What is Avogadro's Number

Avogadro's Number or Avogadro's Constant is called the number of particles that make up a substance (usually atoms or molecules) and that can be found in the amount of one mole of said substance. Its value is 6.023×10²³ particles per mole. Avogadro's number applies to any substance.

Amount of molecules of air

In this case, you know that:

 • Density= 0.97 \frac{g}{mL}
 • Volume= 1 L= 1000 mL

Replacing in the definition of density:

0.97 \frac{g}{mL}=\frac{mass}{1000 mL}

Solving:

mass= 0.97 \frac{g}{mL} ×1000 mL

mass= 970 g

Air has an average molar mass of 28.8 g per 1 mol. Then 970 grams are contained in 33.68 moles.

Now, considering the definition of Avogadro's number you can apply the following rule of three: If 1 mole of air contains 6.023×10²³ molecules, 33.68 moles contains how many molecules?

amount of molecules = (33.68 moles× 6.023×10²³ molecules)÷ 1 mole

amount of molecules= 2.0286×10²⁵ molecules

Finally, you take 2.0286×10²⁵ molecules of air.
