The word used for such statements as described here is sensationalist.

Explanation:

Sensationalist statements are those that are designed to gauge reactions out of people and not necessarily raise the level of, or contribute onto any meaningful discussion in any way.

The statement has no semblance of facts to back it up and is often very exaggerated form of a truth that has been convoluted beyond its sense so it serves only to rile people up and not to make them discuss things.

It is often used in rhetoric to drive the points away from discussion and make speeches out of debates.

Briefly describe the cultural impact of Shakespeare’s works on the United States today. How does Shakespeare still inspire art?
grandymaker [24]

Answer:

William Shakespeare is often credited with having a profound influence on language, literature, theater, and other elements of culture. It would not be difficult to argue that we owe most of modern storytelling’s characteristics to Shakespeare. Theater has never been the same since his plays’ first performances, and Shakespeare’s influence can be noted in everything from contemporary dialogue to expectations of audience behavior. It’s been asserted by historians that the circulation of Shakespeare’s First Folio, a bound collection of his plays that was published posthumously, began to solidify his role as one of the most important figures in history. He’s the most highly regarded dramatist in the world, and Shakespeare’s influence is just as pronounced today as it was centuries ago. Shakespeare is responsible for inventing, popularizing, repurposing, and preserving thousands of common words in the English language. His playful usage of language included combining two words to make a new one, changing verbs into adjectives, changing nouns into verbs, and adding prefixes or suffixes to words. Shakespeare's work has lasted and influenced other artists because of the "emotional experiences" (Siegel) he provides. His works are also timeless. The problems in the plays are also real life today, which is why there are so many books and movies on his work.

Justify Gopal's action of changing his appearance by quoting instances from the lesson to authenticate your answer? Hurry plz. G
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

Gopal's action of changing his appearance is a good decision because he succeeded in bringing the Hilsa fish to the palace without anyone asking him about it because they were all focused on his appearance.

Explanation:

In order to take up the challenge given by the king, Gopal shaved his face, smeared himself with ash and wore torn cloths. this attracted the attention of the people to his  appearance and nobody talked about the hilsa fish bought by him.

furthermore, on reaching the palace, the guards stopped him from entering, then Gopals starts singing in a loud voice and dancing too. This made the king to allow the stranger come in. even inside  the palace, no one asks about the hilsa fish including the king instead he asked about Gopal's dressing. then Gopal reminded the king of the challenge, which the king congratulates him on winning the challenge. The challenge by the king is that; The king told Gopal to buy a hilsa fish and bring it to the palace and that nobody should ask him a word about it.

Therefore, Gopal's action of changing his appearance is justified because he managed to draw people's attention to his appearance and away from the hilsa fish.
