are created equal"? What do you think should've been done?

Well, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson desperately needed some rules in the US so they needed the majority approval to get it official. One of the biggest issues was about slavery. Many people were lazy and didn't want to do work on their own. Since the founders were so desperate they decided that they would just let slavery go on at least until it was done. They desperation got the best of them and they wrote that. To be honest, all this racism could've been stopped. Actually, it wouldn't have even happened. After the Constitution was approved, George Washington let his slaves go BUT, Thomas Jefferson let his slaves go after he died. How did he do that? In his will.

How did the Massachusetts Government Act of 1774 change the way Massachusetts was governed?
arsen [322]

Answer: A. It banned colonial assembly.

Explanation:

The British government viewed the Colony of Massachusetts as a threat due to its continued defiance of British mandates and its seemingly leading role in the rebellion of the other colonies to British directives as well.

The last straw to the British was the Boston Tea Part after which Parliament passed the Massachusetts Government Act of 1774 which placed Massachusetts directly under the control of a Royal governor who had absolute powers and suspended the Colonial assembly in order to remove any illusion of self-governance the people had.
