Function f(x) is a complex function, formed by 3 function. The limit while x -> 3- means that we take arguments which are on the left side of 3, so the function is going to achieve the value of 1, but there is a blank circle, so it cannot achieve it.

Hello,

$ \lim_{x \to 3-} f(x)=1\ \ is\ since ( x\ \in\ Dom(f)\ and\ \forall\ \delta\ \textgreater\ 0 \ and\  $

( x \in \ Dom( f )  \ and \ 3-\delta \ \le \ x \ \ \textless \  p ) == \textgreater \
1 - \epsilon \ \le\ f ( x )\ \le \ 1 + \epsilon \

$ \lim_{x \to 3+} f(x)=3$

f(3)=7\\
\lim_{x \to 3} f(x) \ does\ not\ exist.

What type of transformation takes the graph of f(x)=|x| to the graph of g(x)=−3+|x|?
crimeas [40]

Answer:

vertical translation of 3 units down

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

f\left(x\right)=\left|x\right| ----> the parent function

The vertex of f(x) is the point (0,0)

g\left(x\right)=-3+\left|x\right| ----> the transformed function

The vertex  of g(x) is the point (0,-3)

so

The rule of the translation is

f(x) -----> g(x)

(0,0) ----> (0,-3)

(x,y) ----> (x,y-3)

That means ---> The translation is 3 units down

In a genetics experiment on peas, one sample of offspring contained 376 green peas and 117 yellow peas. Based on those results
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that in a genetics experiment on peas, one sample of offspring contained 376 green peas and 117 yellow peas.

Total no of peas = 376+117=493

No of green peas = 376

Probability of selecting a green pea =\frac{376}{493} =0.7627

Yes it is reasonably close to 3/4 = 0.75 since difference is only 0.0127 negligible.
