Y + 5x = 6

y + 5(-1) = 6
y + (-5) = 6
y - 5 = 6
y - 5 (+5) = 6 (+5)
y = 11
when x = - 1, y = 11

y + 5(0) = 6
y + 0 = 6
y + 0 (-0) = 6 (-0)
y = 6
when x = 0, y = 6

y + 5(1) = 6
y + 5 = 6
y + 5 (-5) = 6 (-5)
y = 1
when x = 1, y = 1

hope this helps

A survey of 250 homeless persons showed that 14 were veterans. Find a point estimate for the population proportion of homeless p
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

\hat p =\frac{14}{250}= 0.056

And for this case that represent the 5.6% of the homeless persons who are veterans

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that in a survey of 250 homeless persons 14 were veterans. We can find the estimated proportion of homeless persons who are veterans with the following formula:

\hat p =\frac{X}{n}

The last one is an unbiased estimator of the true population proportion p

And replacing the info given we got:

\hat p =\frac{14}{250}= 0.056

And for this case that represent the 5.6% of the homeless persons who are veterans

BRAINLIEST for the correct answer!
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

answer is A

Step-by-step explanation:

(3x^{2}+5x+1) (x^{2}−2x+4)

=(3x^{2}+5x+1)(x^{2}+−2x+4)

=(3x^{2})(x^{2})+(3x^{2})(−2x)+(3x^{2})(4)+(5x)(x^{2})+(5x)(−2x)+(5x)(4)+(1)(x^{2})+(1)(−2x)+(1)(4)

=3x^{4}−6x^{3}+12x^{2}+5x^{3}−10x^{2}+20x+x^{2}−2x+4

=3x^{4} − x^{3} + 3x^{2} + 18x +4

<h3>Answer:  x = 35</h3>

==========================================================

Explanation:

All three angles must add to 180. This is true for any triangle.

x+x+110 = 180

2x+110 = 180

2x = 180-110 ... subtract 110 from both sides

2x = 70

x = 70/2 .... divide both sides by 2

x = 35

As a check: 35+35+110 = 180 which helps confirm the answer.
