<h2>Answer:</h2>

The probability that the written 3 digit number  starts with 3 is 1/9

<h3>Explanation:  </h3>

The total number of 3-digit numbers starting from 100 till 999, including both these endpoints, is 900. Since the first digit can be any number from 1 to 9; tens (second digit) and hundreds’ (third digit) can be any number from 0 to 9;( 9×10×10 = <u>900</u>). Therefore, three-digit numbers in between 100 and 999 = Total possible number of outcomes = 900.

For 3-digit number to start with 3, the first digit (hundreds’ place) has to be 3. The tens place (2nd digit) and units place can be any number from 0 to 9. Therefore, total number of favorable outcomes for the three digit number to start from 3 is 1×10×10 = <u>100</u> (numbers from 300 to 399)

Probability = Total number of favorable outcomes / Total possible outcomes = 100/900 = 1/9

Plug any number in for x and find the resulting y, then if you need to graph place the coordinate points on the plane. For example if you set x=2 the equation becomes y=0.5(2). From here we can see 0.5(2)=1 and this is equal to 1 so in a data chart you would write under x the number 1 and under y the number 2.

SIZIF [17.4K]

Answer:

1.02×10¹ = 10.2

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given a number in scientific notation as follows 1.02×10¹

We need to convert it into standard notation.

1 is in ones place, 0 is in tenths place and 2 is in hundredths place.

1.02\times 10^1=\dfrac{102}{100}\times 10\\\\=\dfrac{102}{10}\\\\=10.2

So, the standard notation of 1.02×10¹ is 10.2
