The Antarctic Peninsula is also recognized as the Palmer Peninsula in the United States is the most northern part of the continent of Antarctica. Geographically, it is located at the bottom of the Southern Hemisphere. This peninsula is extremely mountainous, Mount Castro, Mount Gilbert, Mount Jackson are some of the notable peaks on the peninsula.
