Answer: -\frac{9}{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

Just plug these points into the slope formula \frac{y_{2}-y_{1} }{x_{2}-x_{1}}

A: (3,-1) = (x_{1}, y_{1})

B: (-1/3, 2) = (x_{2}, y_{2})

Now solve.

\frac{2- (-1)}{-\frac{1}{3} - 3 }

Simplify the numerator by changing the negative and minus to positive: 2 +1

This simplifies now to 3.

The denominator needs to be simplified by finding a common denominator.

-\frac{1}{3} -\frac{3}{1}

The 3/1 needs to be multiplied by 3 on the top and bottom to get. -\frac{1}{3} - \frac{9}{3}

Now with a common denominator we can subtract:  -\frac{10}{3}

Now we can put our simplified denominator and numerator back together.

\frac{3}{-\frac{10}{3} }

Now KCF, keep change flip.

\frac{3}{1} *- \frac{3}{10}

Now multiply across.

-\frac{9}{10}

This is the final answer as it cannot be simplified any further.

Javier has four cylindrical models. The heights, radii, and diagonals of the vertical cross-sections of the models are shown in
Ronch [10]

The model in which the lateral surface meets the base at right angle is : Model 1.

<h3>What is a lateral surface?</h3>

The lateral surface of an object is all surfaces  of that object excluding its base and top.

Analysis:

To know the exact model, we check for the models in which their dimensions form a Pythagorean triplet otherwise a right-angled triangle.

For Pythagorean triplet, the square of the diagonal must be equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides.

Model 1

Diagonal = 50cm, radius = 14cm, lateral height = 48cm

(50)^{2} = (14)^{2} + (48)^{2}

2500 = 196 + 2304

2500 = 2500. Forms Pythagorean triplet

Model 2

Diagonal= 37cm, radius = 6cm  lateral height = 35cm

(37)^{2} = (35)^{2}+ (6)^{2}

1369 = 1225 +36

1369 \neq 1261

Model 3

Diagonal = 60cm, radius = 20cm  lateral height = 40cm

(60)^{2} = (20)^{2} + (40)^{2}

3600 = 400 + 1600

3600 \neq 2000

Model 4

Diagonal = 30cm, radius = 24cm, lateral height = 9cm

(30)^{2} = (24)^{2} + (9)^{2}

900 = 576 + 81

900 \neq 657

Therefore the lateral surface model 1 meets the base at right angle

In conclusion,  the lateral surface of model 1 meets the base at right angles as the dimensions form a right-angled triangle.

ira has 128 stamps in his stamp album he has the same number of stamps on each of the 8 pages how many stamps are on each page
den301095 [7]
There are several important information's already given in the question. Based on those given information's the answer to the question can be easily deduced.
Number of stamps that Ira has in his stamp album = 128
Number of pages that the stamp album has = 8
Then
Number of stamps in each page of the stamp album = 128/8
                                                                                     = 16
So 16 stamps are there on each page of the stamp album. I hope the procedure is clear enough for you to understand. You can always use this method for solving similar type of problems in future without requiring any additional help.
