A tundra is a vast, flat, treeless Arctic region of Europe, Asia, and North America in which the subsoil is permanently frozen. Grass lands are a<span> large open area of country covered with grass (like the name suggests).</span>

I think, tundra receives small amount of rain while grassland receives month long rain.
