why does working out make us feel good?

That "feel good" chemical is known as Endorphins. They are released during exercise because of the body goes through extended amounts of stress when exercising. Have you ever heard of the "Runners high"? It's actually a real sensation that you can thank Endorphins for.

Serotonin is also an important chemical that contributes to why exercise feels this way. Have you ever felt depressed after sitting around and doing nothing? Low serotonin is one of the biggest contributors to feeling depressed. Serotonin is in alot of anti-depressant medications. Serotonin is mainly released through exercise.

There could be a reason not relating to chemicals at all. Working out and seeing the results gives us a major confidence boost.

A new cream was developed to reduce the irritation caused by poison ivy. To test the effectiveness, researchers placed an ad online asking for volunteers to participate in the study. One hundred subjects replied and were informed that one group would receive the new cream and the other would receive a cream with no active ingredient. All 100 subjects were exposed to poison ivy. Fifty were then randomly assigned to the group with the new cream, and 50 were randomly assigned to the group with the cream with no active ingredient. After three days, the subjects’ level of irritation was measured.

Which of the following statements is true about the benefits of random assignment?

The variability between each subject may not be evenly distributed between the two groups, so any observed differences in the level of irritation between the two groups would not be due to the new cream.
The variability between each subject would be evenly distributed between the two groups, so any observed differences in the level of irritation between the two groups are more likely due to the new cream.
The variability between each type of cream would be evenly distributed between the two groups, so any observed differences in the level of irritation between the two groups are guaranteed to be due to the subjects.
The variability between each subject may not be evenly distributed between the two groups, so any observed differences in the level of irritation between the two groups may or may not be due to the new cream.

Create a story from the Waste's (waste-water) Point of View in the blood as it travels through the kidneys and to the bladder, a
WARRIOR [948]

Answer and Explanation:

During the body's metabolism, molecules are generated that are residues of chemical and methanbological reactions. These molecules need to be removed from the body and this process is done by the excretory system. Most of these molecules are wastewater and nitrogen compounds.

The kidneys are a very important point in this system, along with the urinary system. When blood, rich in oxygen, comes in contact with the kidneys, they are filtered by this organ. This is done through structures called the nephron which are the excretory unit of the kidneys. Within each nephron there is a collecting capsule where water and residual particles that are in the blood are captured, while the rest of the particles pass along with the blood and continue on their way to other regions of the body.

From inside the kidneys there is also a tube called the ureters, which captures the water and molecules captured by the nephron (which forms the urine) and takes them to the bladder, which directs the urine out of the body through the urethra.
