  2. To jump: a- My cat always jumps over the fence.// b- The boy  jumped the rope yesterday // c- The athlete will jump a higher fence in the next competition.
  3. To begin: a- The movie has just begun// b- I could not do the exam because it had already begun; I was late .//  c. The party will have begun by the time we get there.
  4. Progressive form of verbs: a- to be travelling// b- to be watching // c- to be studying.
  5. Paragraph: It was my fist day at work. I had got a job as a secretary in an international company. The company's offices were in a skyscraper in down town. I arrived in time; I took the lift but I got stuck on the 20th floor because of a power failure.
  6. Action verbs: <em>to arrive</em>, <em>to take</em>  // helping verbs: <em>had </em>(got )
