Should America spend less money on military and more money on social welfare programs like healthcare and education?

Answer: Our Military should be maintained to a degree that we minimize the very need for it. We spent too many Trillions in Iraq and the area; we could have taken care of our interests for much less.

Any sort of Government Program - and that includes the Military, tends to spend all they can and do so in part to demand more monies for the next year; Social Programs should be limited to those people who are genuinely in need, and who are helped to where they are more self sufficient. However, no person should suffer from chronic illness or because they are in a position, because of age, or a terrible health condition that they Suffer. Most of those people who have private insurance have it at 1/2 the cost of the governmental services; and frankly, I do like my doctor. There were some great speeches about how wonderful and how one could keep their plan and their doctor that were simply not correct. The less government we have, the more smoothly the USA will run. We can’t give everything away...
