Well the mass increases because of sintrificle mass. It rolls faster. Was this the answer you were looking for?

Here, speed has increased by double to it's original value. 
p = m*v
As they are directly proportional, momentum will also increase by it's double value.

Please put that in"Physics" section not in "History".
