7 question a.)= $5.82

7 question b.)= 0.65 + 0.65 + 0.65 + 1.29 + 1.29 + 1.29 and the second way is

3. 87 + 1.95 = $5.82

8 question Answers are = A.) and C.)

A.) because addition doesn't matter when you switch because either way, your still combining to get your answer. for example 5+3=8  3+5=8

B.) multiplication is the same with addition for example 7 x 6=42 6 x 7=42

for question 9 you should plot a dot a number 3

for 10 you should plot a dot at 2, 3, 4 and 5 because x>1 means every number higher than 1

11 question  table: -2, +4, +7, -4, +5

12+4= 2+7=9-4=5+5=10

10 divided by 5 = 2 your answer is 2

this is the answer because mean is to add up all the number and divide by the number of numbers. in this case, when i added them all up i got 10. and there were 5 number so i divide that by 5 and 10 divided by 5 is 2.

i couldn't really see the 11 question part B.) too well, but i answered everything else. i hope this helps!

Which of the following values cannot be probabilities? 3/5, 2, 0, 1, −0.45, 1.44, 0.05, 5/3 Select all the values that c
Alik [6]

Given:

The numbers are \dfrac{3}{5},2,0,1,-0.45, 1.44.

To find:

All the values that cannot be probabilities.

Solution:

We know that,

\text{Probability}=\dfrac{\text{Favorable outcomes}}{\text{Total outcomes}}

The minimum value of favorable outcomes is 0 and the maximum value is equal to the total outcomes. So, the value of probability lies between 0 and 1, inclusive. It other words, the probability lies in the interval [0,1].

0\leq \text{Probability}\leq 1

From the given values only \dfrac{3}{5}, 0, 1 lie in the interval [0,1]. So, these values can be probabilities.

The values 2,-0.45, 1.44 does not lie in the interval [0,1]. So, these values cannot be probabilities.

Therefore, the correct values are 2,-0.45, 1.44.
