Answer:

Some patients and healthcare workers are usually sensitive to latex or its products such as gloves or condom without them knowing at all so it’s best to use the approach of observing if they are sensitive to other products which has a correlation with latex in terms of sensitivity.

If the patient or healthcare workers are sensitive to kiwifruit, papayas, avocados, bananas, potatoes, or tomatoes then they have a higher chance of having a sensitivity or allergy to latex.

Symptoms of latex allergy includes:

Dry, itchy, hands, rashes, oozing skin blisters, asthma, coughing, wheezing e.t.c.

Safety Precautions to take when a client reports an allergy to latex are :

kodGreya [7K]

Answer: 3

Explanation:

All elements in group 3 have 3 levels of energy.

Na (sodium) has 3 valences the inner has 2 electrons, the middle has 8 electrons and the outer has 1 electron.

This will continue across the group 3 adding one more electron to the outer valence until Ar (argon).
