In the first case,the black guinea pig with the genotype (BB) was quite dominant while the albino guinea pig with the genotype (bb) was recessive. Thus the dominant Gene masked the recessive Gene. The offsprings all had the genotype (Bb)

On the other hand,the second black guinea pig was also dominant but not totally because the genotype of the albino guinea pig was evident in some of the offsprings,thus the genotypes were as follows;

The black guinea pig (Bb),albino guinea pig (bb), Seven of the offsprings (Bb), the other five offsprings (bb)

Catabolic processes involve degradation of complex molecules into simpler molecules with the net release of chemical energy. cat
andreev551 [17]

The correct answer is: True.

Catabolism together with anabolism is a part of metabolism. It is the set of metabolic pathways in which the molecules are broken down into smaller units and the energy is released. Released energy of catabolism (in a form of ATP) is used for the maintenance and growth of cells. Examples of catabolic processes are glycolysis, the citric acid cycle or degradation of macromolecules: proteins into amino acids, lipids into free fatty acids...
