In the exercise to determine the concentration of a solution of CuSO4, for the
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

This question is incomplete

Explanation:

Experimentally, when trying to determine the concentration of an unknown sample of CuSO₄ with known absorbance, a standard curve is used. The standard curve is a scattered plot/graph in which known concentrations and there respective/corresponding absorbance are plotted on a "X and Y axis" graph (scattered plot). The absorbance is represented on the y-axis while the concentration is represented on the x-axis.

Once this known values are plotted on the standard curve, an unknown value (either absorbance or concentration) can be extrapolated from the curve. What is missing from the question is data required for the standard curve.

This question shows the absorbance of the CuSO₄ has been determined (most likely using spectrophotometer), the concentration could have been extrapolated from a standard curve.

An example of a standard curve is provided in the attachment for guidance.

A paragraph on the 3 forms of energy involved in a muscle contraction
irga5000 [103]
There are three types of energy involved in a muscle's contraction. There is metabolism, catabolism, and anabolism. Metabolism is the events that are carried out in the human body to create energy and other things needed for activity. Catabolism is the process during the organic matter is broken down and the energy is released, it takes place during increased movement. Anabolism is the energy-consuming process that substances are created, it takes place when there is little movement. All three of these work to gather in muscle contraction.

How does the function of the glottis help the frog survive?
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

This voice box occurs in all amphibians but is anatomically most complex in frogs. The larynx exits into the trachea; the latter bifurcates into the bronchi and then into the lungs. The glottis then opens, and elastic recoil of the lungs forces the pulmonary air out and over the new air in the buccopharyngeal pocket.
