Question:

All high pressure centers usually form

A. Cyclones

B. Anticyclones

C. Horse latitudes

D. All the above

Answer:

The correct answer is B)

Explanation:

When the atmospheric pressure in a geographical area is greater than it's surrounding vicinity, the space with the high atmospheric pressure is usually referred to as an anticyclone area. Moving away from the above area in any direction, the readings will depict a low pressure.

Anticyclone is the opposite of a cyclone.

When the temperature of an air mass cools rapidly more than its surroundings, the air according to the laws of physics contracts. This contraction makes the air mass heavier. This heavy mass of air in that location resulting in increased surface air pressure in that area is what we call Anticyclones.

Meteorologists usually embrace high-pressure readings because it translates to good weather. When there is an anticyclone, the following are usually resultant effects: clear skies, cooler and drier air. Like everything, a prolonged anticyclone may eventually become detrimental leading to still air and the possibility of heatwaves.

Answer:

Arbitrary

Explanation:

The exchange merely serves as a reminder that language is arbitrary. It is subjective and not objective in nature.

 • A widely accepted interpretation of a word or phrase can be change later on with new trends developing.
 • When we say something is arbitrary, it implies that it is subjected to individuals interpretation.
 • One version of analogy is not binding.
 • Nathan must have had his own version of the interpretation of the phrase "cool cat" for him to object the perceived view point of his grandfather.

A person become anxious when they feel pressured or they feel like they are out of time and they will not finish want ever they need to finish in that time and because of being anxious the person may even start to make mistakes.

He gets anxious thinking about others performing better than him which is why his teacher is trying to limit a competitive spirit within the classroom.
