During the medieval era, knights were some of the most respected people because they were the lords of the battlefield and the protectors of the land. So if you were a knight, then you were definitely a big shot. Now boys had to leave home to be trained as a knight because he had to study under a local lord and assist the local lord as a page. He had to dedicate all his time to study the basic skills that he would need in order for him to become a knight. This included combat, hunting, history, and many other things too.

The type of experience necessary to produce changes in a skill is called practice, and the relatively permanent changes are called conditioning.

How to define practice?

Practice is the act of performing a task repeatedly until one becomes proficient in it. You acquire a skill that you did not have before by practising.

What is conditioning?

The term "conditioning" describes a situation in which a previously neutral stimulus is paired with a stimulant that has biological potency. For instance, becoming sick when you smell anything unpleasant. This occurs because you previously smelled something unpleasant that made you feel ill after consuming it. This is essentially permanent.

interference

The discovery has a connection to interference theory. This idea focuses on memory in people. When new information interacts with the transfer effects of previously learned behaviors, interference in learning may result. James Jenkins and Karl Dallenbach demonstrated in their experiment from 1924 that daily events might affect memory. According to the trial, retention was higher after a night of rest than during a similar period of activity.

A theory about human memory is the interference theory. In learning, interference happens. The theory holds that memories stored in good memory are lost and are not retrievable from short-term memory because they can conflict.
