Answer:

Uncertainty avoidance.

Explanation:

As the exercise suggests, Aaron's community is generally as adventurous with a pronounced inclination toward risk-taking and an aversion for the structured routine life. Therefore, they are low in uncertainty avoidance that as the name indicates, is the amount of uncertainty, unpredictability. Therefore, if a community is adventurous, they assume many risks and, in doing so, they would care very little in avoiding uncertainty.

It would be more logical to have an abundant amount of resources than to be in a center of a training route. Thomas Jefferson's Embargo Act of 1807 is an example. America suffered more even though it was meant to punish France and Great Britain. If America had more supplies then they wouldn't have any issue with trading with someone else. America is across the sea so it is hard to believe they were in the center of the training route.

Having a good location is important, but if there isn't enough to trade then that creates more issues. One would be that the area could become a reputation for being unreliable. It does come to the question if the loads of resources is worth traveling for or to take a route that's faster but there isn't a lot of give. Being isolated also means that of there happens to be an issue in the trade then the location is either off the maps or people don't want to there because of the distance and the prices might be able to go up. That's why resources are better than location.

After learning that her two best friends had lost their jobs, Mariah began to grossly overestimate the national unemployment rat
exis [7]

Answer:

b. The availability heuristic

Explanation:

In psychology, the term availability heuristic refers to the tendency that people have to rely on immediate examples (usually close to them) when they have to evaluate a broader topic or concept. In other words, people make judgements based on specific examples that come to their mind.

In this example, two of Mariah's friends lost their jobs. Now Mariah is grossly overestimating the national unemployment rate. We can see that Mariah is relying on immediate examples like what just happened to her two best friends to form an opinion on the national unemployment rate. Therefore, this would be an example of availability heuristic.
