The definition of exclusive language is C. "Exclusive language is words that exclude various groups of people." The word "exclusive" means to exclude something or someone. A person can use exclusive language to exclude someone and make them feel rejected, not valued or not part of a group of people or society. Exclusive language is often used to discriminate against people because of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or education levels. Words are powerful and we need to be careful how we use them.
