Answer

Find out the  what is the width .

To prove

Let us assume that x be the scalar multiple of the height and width of the packaging label .

As given

The ratio of the height to the width of a packaging label is 5 to 19.

If the height of the label is 1.5 inches .

Than the equation becomes

5x = 1.5

x = \frac{1.5}{5}

x = 0.3

Than

The width of a packaging label = 19 × 0.3

                                                    = $ 5.7

Therefore the width of the packaging label is $ 5.7 .

Divide 20 chocolates between Adi and Suresh such that adi gets 60% while Suresh gets 40% of the chocolates
Eddi Din [679]

Hello!

To find how much chocolate Adi and Suresh receives, you need to convert the percentage to a decimal, then you multiply that decimal by the total number of chocolates, which is 20.

To convert percentages to decimals, divide the percentage by 100, and remove the percentage.

60% / 100 = 0.60

20% / 100 = 0.20

Then, we multiply 0.60 and 0.20 by 20.

0.60 x 20 = 12

0.40 x 20 = 8

Therefore, Adi gets 12 chocolates and Suresh gets 8 chocolates.

The figure shows five polygons: ABCDE, FGHIJ, KLMNO, PQRST, and UVWXY.
Natasha_Volkova [10]
PQRST, as similarity refers to these polygons all having the same shape, just in different sizes and positions. Polygon PQRST, however, is a different shape than the other ones, as it is wider in comparison to the height.

There are 498 coins in a bottle 1/3 of the coins are in pounds 124 of the coins are 50p and the rest are 20p work out the total
OverLord2011 [107]

Step-by-step explanation:

No. of coins in pounds → 1/3 x 498 = 166

No. of coins in 50p → 124

No. of coins in 20p → 498 - 166 - 124 = 208

Total Value: 166pounds + 124 (50p) + 208 (20p)

unfortunately, I do not know the exact currencies of pounds and "p" so I'm sorry I'm afraid but I can't calculate the total value
