The role that women played in the war effort during World War I was option A. They worked in war industries , manufacturing weapons and supplies.

During World War I, which spanned from 1914 to 1918, large numbers of women were recruited into jobs vacated by men who had gone to fight in the war. New jobs were even created as part of the war effort, such as in munitions factories.

The high demand for weapons led to the munitions factories becoming the largest single employer of women during 1918.

Why did European colonists stop using Native Americans for slave labor?
Vaselesa [24]

Answer:

The North stopped believing in slavery except for in the south. So slaves would run away to the North or any place that accepted them. Those who were caught were forced to be returned at a condition far worse then before.

Explanation:

I believe it is  A . Disease was horrid and they were carried on slave ships cramped tightly together with hardly any room to move and the stench was horrid. Some were allowed on board until some jumped off rather taking drowning then slavery. And later on throughout the years, they didn't depend on slaves because they had factories and machines.

Why did Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales gain their own legislatures?
mash [69]
Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales gained their own legislatures because c) The British Parliament had grown too large to be efficient. This was also due to the fact that these three places are countries but part of Great Britain (Scotland and Wales) and the United Kingdom (all three countries) and it would only be fair for them to have some say for their own countries specific issues. This process is called devolution.
