The comma here is used to intensify the love/adoration of John for this dog. The fact that 2 adjectives were used to describe the dog, requested the comma to be added, therefore the comma and the adjectives form a "relation" , symbiosis in order to intensify john's feelings for the sheep dog.

irga5000 [103]

Answer:

I do not need my freedom

Explanation:

I do not need my freedom when I'm dead. I cannot live on tomorrow's bread. ... The extended metaphor of tomorrow's bread also fits well as a comparison with freedom. We need bread to eat and we need freedom to live as a full person.

Answer:

Explanation: Paul-Edward is the son of a white farmer whose first name is Edward and a Black Native American mother. Paul's father had a white wife and had children with her, and refused to let Paul-Edward have his name Edward, as his mother wanted, because he hadn't allowed any of his white children to have his name, thus he was called Paul-Edward. Because he was multi-racial, Paul-Edward faced racism, ridicule, discrimination, and cruelty as he grew up.
