The Israeli Palestinian conflict is a major scar in American foreign policy especially in the middle east becasue not only does it threaten Israeli security,but it is also a major source of Arab region resentment toward USA, therefore threatening the USA security and business interests in the region as well. This comes at the backdrop of the fact that Israel is USA staunch ally.
