Answer:

I was able to deduce most of them by reading the two poems, "On the Pulse of Night" and "One Today."<em> For example, whenever Maya Angelou said'' Women, children, people, take it into your hands ' palms, mold it into the form of your most private need. </em>

Carve it into Your most public self image. Lift your hearts Every new hour presents new opportunities for a new start. To hate, yoked eternally To violence, don't be wedded forever.

"She said we had an issue with dwelling on the past and that we need to get over that because many people worked hard to make our country the way the world is going.

What line from "The Golden Cat" has a simile?
nadezda [96]

The most obvious one is

His claws peep through like Rays of Light

It is kind of an odd comparison, but it is a comparison. His claws come out like rays of light means that the claws are barely noticeable as he unsheathes them. They are however like the first light of dawn or the last light of dusk.  He's sort of checking them to make sure they are there.

Banks and other financial institutions channel money from to borrowers to investors.
Klio2033 [76]

This statement is false. Actually the correct version would be exactly the opposite: Banks and other financial institutions channel money from to INVESTORS to BORROWERS.

Investors deposit money in the bank by the purchase of financial products of very different kinds (savings account, shares, private or public debt, etc). The bank pays some return for this money and, in turn, uses it to lend money to customers who come for a loan or a mortgage (for example). These borrowers need to pay a fee to the bank to obtain the money resquested. The fee is actually a percentage of the total amount lent and it is called interest.

Can you help me Elements of effective communication are skills contained in active listening, including which of the following?
guajiro [1.7K]

Answer:c) using verbal brief affirmations..

D) asking closed questions..

E) seeking clarification..

G) use of body language

Explanation: Being a good listener begins with active listening, meaning you take time to pay close attention to what the person is saying and you ask clarifying questions for better understanding.

Your use of body language such as hand gestures, eye contact and the tone of your voice all put colour to what you are saying and make it easier for the listener to understand you.

Asking closed questions will give you an idea of if your listener actually understands what you are trying to communicate with them. This will also give them more interest to what you are communicating about.

Seeking clarification of whether the one you communicating with understands is essential because you get to see where the listener lacks understanding and you are then able to further explain.

Good communication means saying just enough, not too much or too little. Try to convey your message with a few words as possible. Say what you want clearly and directly.
