Allen and andrew both have the same biological parents. Why do they not resemble either of there parents
taurus [48]
This can be because of their genetics. The siblings may not have inherited their parents looks, but maybe they inherited their grandparents looks, or even their aunts looks. This is all due to genetics. It's sort of the same thing, when two caucasian parents have an african-american child. That would be because somewhere along the family tree someone was african-american.
Anyways, I hope this helps!

Damage to the ischial tuberosity would compromise which action
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

Damage to the ischial tuberosity would compromise stand and walk.

Explanation:

The ischium is the lower component of the coxal bone, which is part of the hip or pelvic girdle. The ischial tuberosity is located in the upper back part of the ischium, being the place where the tendons of important muscles of the lower limb are inserted.

The four major muscles that have their insertion into the ischial tuberosity are

 • Major adductor of the thigh .
 • Biceps crural.
 • Semimembranous.
 • Semitendinous.

The individual and joint function of these muscles allows for stability of the lower limb with respect to the hip, flexion and extension movements of the thigh and leg, essential for standing and walking.

An injury of the ischial tuberosity would result in a significant limitation in standing and walking.
