is measured. In relative units, the levels of activity of βgalactosidase is given for the wild-type. Predict the relative levels of β-galactosidase activity in cells grown under the same condition in following mutant cells.

Answer:

I am assuming that the mutant cells have mutated beta galactosidase activity hence the relative levels of enzymatic activity would be reduced.

The digested products then leave lysosomes so that cells can use them.
