What could a principal do if someone told on me about taking someone’s picture without their consent, to show a mutual friend...

it wasn’t indented for anything bad to happen and I also apologized for taking her photo. Should I be worried if I get called down??

I would not stress it. If the picture was taken in a public place, there are no laws broken. But if you took it in the privacy of that person than you could possibly get in trouble. If anything he will inform you that those thing are unacceptable and to not do it again.
