The point P(1, 3) is one unit up of the line y = 2, a refrection image of P(1, 3) across the line y = 2 will be one unit down of the line y = 2.
Therefore, the coordinate of the refrection image is (1, 1).

What is the answer to this problem?
Svet_ta [14]

Subtract 180 - 34 = 146

You know ∠BPD adds up to 146°

Since \overrightarrow{PS} bisects ∠BPD, you know that ∠BPC and ∠CPD are equal to each other.

Divide 146 by 2 = 73

m∠CPD = 73°

Then swimming will be 2x

x + 2x = 4.5
3x = 4.5
x = 4.5/3
x = 1.5

Which fraction has a value that is equal to 3/4
Katena32 [7]
3/4
3.0/4=0.7R0.2 or 0.7 + 0.2/4
0.20/4=0.05R0.00 or 0.05 + 0.00/4
now put it all together
0.7R2 = 0.7 + 0.05R0.00 = 0.75 + 0.00 = 0.75

David has a garden with dimension 11 feet long x 9 feet wide. he wants to enlarge the garden to an area of 126. How much farther
kipiarov [429]
Length = 11
Width = 9
Area we need = 126
So Area = length * width
126 = 11 * 9
Now.. this is obviously wrong.. they want us to find the correct length..
126 = L * 9
126/9 = L
L = 14
Now since they ask about how much farther you need to extend, take the final and subtract from the original
14 - 11 = 3
Answer is 3.
