The simplified version or form of the radical number given, square root of 26, is already itself. This is because this radical is already in its simplest form. We can no longer factor out 26 to give us any two or more numbers that can be expressed in simpler radical form. Note that the factors of 26 are 2 and 13 only.

The sum of two numbers is 52. The greater number is 4 more than the smaller number. Which equation can be used to solve for the
Arisa [49]

Answer:

x+(x+4)=52

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's name the smaller number x.

The greater number would then be (x+4).

The sum of two numbers means we are adding them together.

The equation we could then set up would be:

x+(x+4)=52

Now we can solve the equation to find the two numbers if needed.

Here is how:

x+x+4=52

Combine like terms.

2x+4=52

Subtract 4 from both sides.

2x=48

Divide both sides by 2

x=24

The smaller number is 24.

24+4=28

The larger number is 28.

Hey can someone help me plz I don't know how to this?
MakcuM [25]
So yes the board is wide enough. The are 10 decimeters in a meter.

What it is asking you to do in the example above is multiply 2.5/23.5 by 1.2 both top and bottom aka the numerator and denominator. This makes it easier to view and divide.

I didn't use this method I just looked at it but give it a try for your answer to B
