Coconut oil contain saturated lauric acid, saturated myristic acid, saturated caprylic acid, saturated decanoic acid and unsaturated oleic acid.  

Palm oil contains saturated myristic, palmitic and steric acid. It also contains oleic monounsaturated acid and linoleic polyunsaturated acid.  

They are semisolid at room temperature. Oil is that type of lipids which is liquid at room temperature due to the presence of saturated fatty acid. Both type of oil mention in text have high degree of saturation and are semi solid at room temperature .
