The answer is: he can eat 48 hotdogs in 12 minutes. How? Well, first, to find the amount of hotdogs he can eat in 1 min. you have to divide 32 by 8, and obviously you get 4. Now you multiply 4 by 12 and you get your answer, which is 48. Good luck with your homework!

You must first find the unit rate by dividing 32 by 8.
That will give you 4 hot dogs per minute, or 4/1.
Now you must multiply both the numerator and denominator by 12.
That will give you 48 hot dogs per 12 minutes or 48/12

Does this set of ordered pairs represent a function? Why or why not. Don’t need a step to step just the answer
Scrat [10]

Answer:

D. Yes,because every x-value corresponds to exactly one y-value.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given ordered pairs are;

{(-5,-5),(-1,-2),(0,-2),(3,7),(8,9)}

We do not have the same x-value corresponding to more than one y-value.

We can see from the ordered pairs that every x-value corresponds to exactly one y-value.

Therefore the graph of this relation will pass the vertical line test.
