<span>Seven times a number is 5600. what is the number?
the </span>number is 800 because 5600/7= 800 so 7 times 800 is 5600

To do this you need to work backwards. if you note the number as 'n' you can put
 7n = 5600
to find n you simply divide both sides by 7 getting
n = 5600/7
n = 800

zzz [600]

Answer:

z=\frac{0.36 -0.39}{\sqrt{\frac{0.39(1-0.39)}{100}}}=-0.615

The p value for this case would be:

p_v =2*P(z

For this case since the p value is higher than the significance level we have enough evidence to FAIL to reject the null hypothesis and we can conclude that the true proportion is not different from 0.39

Step-by-step explanation:

Information given

n=100 represent the random sample taken

X=36 represent the number of people that take E supplement

\hat p=\frac{36}{100}=0.36 estimated proportion of people who take R supplement

p_o=0.39 is the value that we want to test

\alpha=0.05 represent the significance level

z would represent the statistic

p_v represent the p value

Hypothesis to test

We want to test if the true proportion is equatl to 0.39 or not, the system of hypothesis are.:

Null hypothesis:p=0.39

Alternative hypothesis:p \neq 0.39

The statistic is given by:

z=\frac{\hat p -p_o}{\sqrt{\frac{p_o (1-p_o)}{n}}} (1)

Replacing the info we got:

z=\frac{0.36 -0.39}{\sqrt{\frac{0.39(1-0.39)}{100}}}=-0.615

The p value for this case would be:

p_v =2*P(z

For this case since the p value is higher than the significance level we have enough evidence to FAIL to reject the null hypothesis and we can conclude that the true proportion is not different from 0.39

Example 2:
Montano1993 [528]
Taking this example into account, we can see that setting the first value equal to 1, we obtain that F(x)=0.5x+1=4 and x=6. Using this information, we find that F(x+1)=0.5(x+1)+1=0.5(6+1)+1=4.5. It shows that when x is positive, the succussive terms are increasing.

Referring to that finding, if we set initial value less than zero, which means that we are solving 0.5x+1<0 and taking a number in the interval of the solution, which means x ∈ (- ∞, -20). Setting x=-19, we find that F(x)=0.5x+1=-19 and x=-40. In the next iteration, F(x+1)=0.5(x+1)+1=0.5(1-40)+1=-18.5. In the next iteration, F(x+2)=0.5(x+2)+1=0.5(2-40)+1=-18. By this way, we find that even if the initial value is less than zero, value of the successive iterations is increasing.

Using the function g(x)=-x+2 and taking the initial value equal to 4, we find that g(x)=-x+2=4 and x=-2. In the next iteration, g(x+1)=-(x+1)+2=-(-2+1)+2=3. If we continue the iterations we'll see that they are decreasing.
Setting the initial value equal to 2, we find that g(x)=-x+2=2 and x=0. The next iteration is g(x+1)=-(x+1)+2=1. In this case, the interations are also decreasing.
If we set the initial value equal to 1, we find that g(x)=-x+2=1 and x=1. In the next iteration, g(x+1)=-(x+1)+2=0 and the iterations are decreasing.
