The branch consists of other seven members who are elected constitutionally and they are the secretary of the state, lieutenant governor, school superintended, commissioner of agriculture, labour and insurance and attorney general.

The governor as stated by Article 4, should only serve one term which is 4 years. Furthermore, there are other elected members of the public service which report to the governor.
