How many degrees are x and y?

Mathematics

Y is 68 degrees because it is the same thing as the thing on the left. So x is 112 because a straight line/semi-circle equals 180. Since the x+y equals a semi-circle (180 degrees) you have to do 180 - 68 equals 112.

Y = 68°
Corresponding angles between parallel lines are equal

x and y form a linear pair.
x + y = 180°
68 + x= 180
x= 112°

PolarNik [594]

Answer:

58,21    ≤   μ  ≤   61,79

Step-by-step explanation:

Normal Distribution

Poputation size        n = 41

Population mean         X  = 60

Population standard deviation    σ = 7

Question is: Confidence Interval 90 % ??

As Confidence Interval is 90 %   then  α  = 10 %

And as we are dealing with a two tail test

α/2  = 0,05

We look in Z table for values for  α/2  = 0,05  and find

z(α/2)  =  - 1,64      and    z(α/2) =  1,64

Then

Confidence Interval is

X - Zα/2 * σ/√n   ≤  μ  ≤  X + Zα/2 * σ/√n

60 - ( 1,64 ) * 7/√41  ≤   μ  ≤  60 + ( 1,64 ) * 7/√41

60 -  1,64 * 1,09375   ≤   μ  ≤  60 +  1,64 * 1,09375

60 - 1,79375    ≤   μ  ≤  60 +  1,79375

58,21    ≤   μ  ≤   61,79

Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

Exp Date: 1/17/2017

Exp Time: 4:00am

Prep Date: 12/3/2016

Prep Time: 4:00am

Initials: 12/7/2016

Step-by-step explanation:

A well-detailed version of the question has been uploaded in form of an image for easier understand.

Looking at the question, it was said that she received her store order on 12/3/2016 at 4am, this implies that the prep date and time are 12/3/2016 and 4am respectively. Also, it was said that the expiration date was printed on the product and it is 1/17/2017. Obviously, the expiration time would also be 4am because it was prepared at 4am and if we calculate in. 24hours we would get 4am at the expiration date as well. Lastly, we were told she opened the product she received on 12/7/2016 which is the initial date the product was used. From all these we can deduce the following:

Exp Date: 1/17/2017

Exp Time: 4:00am

Prep Date: 12/3/2016

Prep Time: 4:00am

Initials: 12/7/2016
