For range it’s highest number minus lowest number so:
28 - 21 = 7

For median it’s the middle number:
Since there’s two we add them and dive it by two so:
25 + 24 = 49 dived by 2 = 24.5

For mode it’s most occurring number in this case :
All of them appear twice so none of them are the mode

Find P (Sophomore | Boy)
Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

$ \textbf{P} \textbf{(Sophomore}\hspace{1mm} | \hspace{1mm} \textbf{Boy)} \hspace{1mm}\textbf{=} \hspace{1mm} \frac{\textbf{5}}{\textbf{12}} $      $

Step-by-step explanation:

We are asked to find the probability of picking a Sophomore who is a boy.

There are 5 Sophomores who are boys out of total boys.

$ \textbf{P(A} | \textbf{B)} \hspace{1mm} \textbf{=} \hspace{1mm} \frac{\textbf{P(A and B)}}{\textbf{P(B)}}  $

$ \implies P(Sophomore | Boy) = \frac{P(Sophomore \& Boy)}{P(Boys)} $

$ = \frac{5}{12} $

Hence, the answer.

2 angles measure 40 degrees each, what does the third angle measure? what type of triangle is it?
zimovet [89]

Answer:

Part a): 100 degrees

Part b): Isosceles Triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Part a): Since the angle measures of all triangles add up to 180 degrees and since the other two angles are 40 degrees, which add up to 80, we can use subtraction to find the answer.

180 - 80 = 100

Part b): Since only two of the three angles in this triangle have the same measure, we can find that it is an isosceles triangle, with base angles measuring 40 degrees, and the vertex angle being 100 degrees.
