The changes that I might have done to work on and able to convince the group of peers is to based on the peers' demographic background. Their age group and social group played a big role on how I would convince them in a new manner from the original presentation without compromising the idea of the clean water fundraising.

Answer:

If I were presenting to a group of people my age, I would spend more time explaining why the lack of clean water is a problem. I would also try to make more connections to my peers’ own lives by using images that show the actual drinking water some people are forced to drink. I would also show statistics like the difference between people in the United States and people in other countries to open their eyes to a global problem they might not be aware of.

Explanation:

What did you include in your response? Check all that apply.

I would use multimedia that shows young teenagers involved in related activities.

I would alter the claim slightly to best meet the interests of the audience.

I would modify the information shared so that it is age appropriate.

dimaraw [331]

Answer:

It provides the foundation for a word’s meaning.

Explanation:

Let's say, for example, you encountered the word "unhappiness" within a reading text. And, let's say that you had no idea whatsoever what the affixes -un and -ness meant. You would at the very least be able to recognize (a form of) the word 'happy' as the root of the larger word and know that the word had something to do with the concept of "happy."
