Explanation: After transcription, the mRNA must be stabilize by inhibiting its degradation to go out the nucleus to the cytoplasm, to be translated by ribosomes. To do that, mRNA is modified in both ends: a methyl-guanosine cap at 5' end and a poly adenine tail (poly A) at 3' end. These modifications prevent its degradation by RNases because they can't recognize the modified RNA.
