Defend them from moving. He was a good man that defended the indians. He helped them win the case that let them move onto their land. The indians were happy for awhile until they were forced by president Andrew Jackson to move to farther west against their legal court papers that said they could stay

He later did this to Czechoslovakia and many other countries and no one stopped him.
