Y=-3x+2:
Already in slope intercept form
Graph by plotting a point on (0,2)
Then move 3 points up and 1 to the right and plot the point and keep doing that a couple times

-3x-y=-2:
Add -3x on both sides
The result would be
-y=3x-2
Divide everything by negative 1
Y=-3x+2

Both equations are the same so they are the same line

Those are the same graph. just written in different ways the first one u listed is in slope intercept already. the second one, just rearrange using proper algebra and they become the same. the slope is -3 and the y intercept is at (0,-2). this means starting at (0,-2) thenext point willbe 1 over to he right, 3 down. before (0,-2), though, will be 1 over o the left and 3 up

Anna wants to buy a car in two years and wants to have $10,000 for the purchase. How much will Anna need to deposit today in an
Brut [27]

Answer:

Anna will need to deposit \$9,050.25

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The compound interest formula is equal to

A=P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}

where

A is the Final Investment Value

P is the Principal amount of money to be invested

r is the rate of interest  in decimal

t is Number of Time Periods

n is the number of times interest is compounded per year

in this problem we have

t=2\ years\\A=\$10,000\\ r=0.05\\n=12

substitute in the formula above  and solve for P

10,000=P(1+\frac{0.05}{12})^{12*2}

10,000=P(1.0042)^{24}

P=10,000/(1.0042)^{24}

P=\$9,050.25

xz_007 [3.2K]

Since my name is in this question, I'll answer it :)

Answer:

Yes, she's right.

Step-by-step explanation:

2/8 is simplified to 1/4. Between 1 and 1/2, it is 1/4. So yes, I (Candice) was right. :)
