Answer:

The answer to your question is: second option

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x) = x + 4

- This function is linear because the power of x is 1, if the power were a different number it would not be linear.

- As the sign of 4 is positive, it means that the function is translated 4 units up.

- A constant is when there is a number, for example +4 or -4, in this example the function also has a letter "X" so it is not a constant.

A yoga studio sells monthly memberships. The function f(x) = −x2 + 50x − 264 models the profit in dollars, where x is the number
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

x = 6, x = 44; The zeros represent the number of monthly memberships where no profit is made.

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = −x² + 50x − 264

−x² + 50x − 264 = 0

-x² + 44x + 6x - 264 = 0

-x(x - 44) + 6(x - 44) = 0

(x - 44)(-x + 6) = 0

x = 6, 44

Please help and explain it would be very helpful
iris [78.8K]
So for the first one think of it as decimals so it’s easier: 9.20-7.35, subtract and it would be 1.85 so since we use decimals to make it easier it isn’t actually a decimal so it would be 2 hours and 25 minutes. And for the second one you just add 50 minutes to that and you would get 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Which matrix represents the system of equations shown below? 2x-y=-6 and x-6y=13
dezoksy [38]

Answer: D

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

The first matrix contains the coefficients of the x- and y- values for both equations (top row is the top equation and the bottom row is the bottom equation. The second matrix contains what each equation is equal to.

\begin{array}{c}2x-y\\x-6y\end{array}\qquad \rightarrow \qquad \left[\begin{array}{cc}2&-1\\1&-6\end{array}\right] \\\\\\\begin{array}{c}-6\\13\end{array}\qquad \rightarrow \qquad \left[\begin{array}{c}-6\\13\end{array}\right]

The product will result in the solution for the x- and y-values of the system.
